1. Our content

5. What happens next

When we receive a complete notice, we remove or disable access to the material, usually within 2 business days, and let the person who posted it know where applicable. Incomplete notices may not be acted on; we will tell you what is missing.

6. Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent with your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and telephone number, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address. We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notice unless the original complainant files a court action.

7. Repeat infringers

We may remove content from, and refuse service to, anyone who repeatedly infringes the rights of others.
